Chrissy Teigen Reigns superior And Shows Us The Real Side Of Celebrities

Chrissy Teigen: model, wife, mother, advocate, queen of Twitter, writer of recipe books, and one the most real celebrities out there. These are just a few titles that the amazing Chrissy Teigen holds.

Chrissy holds nothing back. She's real and open- whether it comes to her marriage with John, her kids, her work, her post-partum depression, or anything in-between, she lays it all out there.

If you follow any of Chrissy's social media accounts, which I highly recommend you do, you know that she is very real and doesn't hold much back. She speaks out for what she believes in on Twitter and shares real moments of motherhood on Instagram. Whenever she is on a talk show, she is so open to the audience and puts it all out there. Also, she's hilarious.

On twitter, you can always count her for her honesty, great clap backs, and never holding back. She's not afraid to call someone out or support someone. She asks all the questions that everyone is thinking but too afraid to actually say. She opens up about motherhood and isn't afraid to talk about the hard aspects of it.

After giving birth to her beautiful daughter, Luna, she opened up about her struggle with post-partum depression. She wanted women around the world to understand that they're not alone and it's okay to be feeling that way. She realized that no one had ever told her they had postpartum depression and she wanted to take the ambiguity of it all away.

So she wrote about it for the magazine, Glamour. She was real and raw with everything she said to help other people going through something similar, which I truly respect.

Chrissy also found her love for cooking. When she cooks she often posts on her Instagram story and it makes my mouth water. I mean seriously how does everything she make look so good and fancy? Even when she doesn't make it and gives credit to whoever did- it looks amazing. So really, I just need to go live with her and John so I can eat all the delicious food they get to eat.

She's also the type of person that could post a picture of a beautiful meal she made and then proceed to tell you that in the process she sliced her finger and it took 6 hours because she couldn't figure out how to properly cook the chicken, just an example but you get the point, and it's all because she is that open.

Chrissy is funny and witty. She speaks her mind and lets her audience and fans know what's going on her life. She doesn't try to be perfect and I respect that. As a non-celebrity, we don't often get to see the real side of things. So for that, thank you Chrissy.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows.
