It’s such a shame that an R&B singer like Chris Brown, who has an amazingly silky and high pitched voice, continues to ruin his reputation.
Brown was arrested and released from jail on a $250,000 bail after an 11-hour standoff outside of his mansion in Calabasas California in late August. This all started when Brown was accused of pulling a gun on Baylee Curran at his house party.
According to TMZ, Brown plans on partying less and has already enforced a guest policy so that no more random guests will be allowed. The policy is so strict that his roommates have to create a detailed list of their potential guests and from there, he decides whether or not they fit the guest criteria. Not only that, but Brown also doesn’t want any guest to bring alcohol or drugs except if he provides it.
Although it might be unfair that his friends are taking some of the heat, it’s right on Brown’s part that he's taking some action by closing his party house to make sure that this kind of altercation doesn’t happen again. While it seems as though he has established some rules, the real test is to see if he will actually follow through with his own rules so that he won’t get into any more trouble.
If things can’t possibly be any worse, Brown is trying to interfere in Rihanna’s relationship with Drake. It’s clear that Brown hasn’t gotten over Rihanna and according to Inquisitr, Brown doesn’t believe that his ex-girlfriend loves Drake. But as stated by Us Weekly, Drake and Rihanna have made their relationship official. So instead of Brown perseverating over their relationship, he should be worrying about getting his act together again and focusing on his music.
More importantly, Brown should be taking care of his two-year-old daughter, Royalty, and setting a good example for her and for singers who also have children.
Despite all of this, I for some reason continue to download his music and have been doing so since elementary school. Even though his behavior has been unacceptable, I will always love his song “Forever” and will keep downloading his songs on my iPhone.
