WHY CHOOSING THE HARD PATH TO SUCCESS WAS THE BEST THING I EVER DID

Yes, I chose to do things the hard way because as much as I love fairy tales, I know that there are no magic wands to make something appear or disappear at a mere stroke miraculously.

WHY CHOOSING THE HARD PATH TO SUCCESS WAS THE BEST THING I EVER DID

In This Article:

I DO NOT CHOOSE EASY PATHS, but I would not change a thing.

Juliette, why do you tell us that with a personal profile one can build a business, when there are Facebook pages that are created for that purpose, plus I do not want to annoy my friends and family.

Juliette, why do you decide you need to be super active on Facebook and spend time talking to people individually – can you not just automate everything, it is 2019?

Juliette, I want to have a life of freedom, but I do not want to give up my free time to be building my business- it seems exhausting.

Juliette, can I not just use ads?

You can do whatever you want, frankly, but then find someone else to learn from, stop reading, close this page, because you will not like what I am telling you.

THERE ARE NO EASY WAYS TO BUILD A BUSINESS

YOU HAVE TO INVEST TIME INITIALLY IF YOU WANT TO CREATE THE LIFE OF FREEDOM AS A RESULT

NOTHING HAPPENS TO YOU, BUT YOU CAN CREATE THE LIFE YOU WANT – WHEN YOU COMMIT & PUT IN SOME HARD WORK

Yes, I chose to do things the hard way because as much as I love fairy tales, I know that there are no magic wands to make something appear or disappear at a mere stroke miraculously.

And no, I do not think that life is hard, or making money is hard, but I know that it was committing and working HARD that helped me understand and figure out what worked, and what didn't in my business and in the strategies I teach. And that it took time, a lot of patience and trusting the journey that brought success and freedom into my life.

Are you ready to do what it takes to make your dreams happen? Are you prepared to trade your life for those dreams?

If your answer is no – STOP IT NOW.

You are wasting your time.

Get a job and forget about being an entrepreneur. It will feel better, I promise.

If your answer is yes – PERSEVERE.

Keep going; even if it feels like there is no clarity, you don't know the direction you are going to, even if things do not always work out the way you expect (mostly they won't) – but you KNOW deep down, there is something out there that is calling you. And you do everything you need to do, get everything you need to have, learn everything you need to learn to get there.

And one day you realise -you found the right track!

You'll feel confident and clear!

You'll know EXACTLY what your mission is and who you can serve.

And then you'll know that it is all starting to pay off: the hard work, the long hours, choosing to do things the hard way. And you start realising that the unique systems you created have been allowing you to feel free and in the flow.

This is what happened to me, and I do not regret a thing, not a minute spent searching and learning, communicating, connecting and showing up.

Not a single second. I was prepared to trade my life for my dreams and it is paying off. Now I WANT to do even more!

What are you prepared to do to make your dreams come true?

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
