I recently got my phone upgrade this past December and since getting my first smartphone back in 2012, I was always an android girl. After upgrading to the Samsung galaxy Note 4 at the end of 2014 from a Galaxy S3, I was set on getting the newest Note phone, or most most recent. However, since the Note 7 catches on fire and was recalled, I had to do my consumer research.
The iPhone 7 plus was the decision I went with and I don't regret it. Although the phone doesn't have the jack, a pair of earphones are still provided and you connect it through the port where you charge it. An adapter is also provided to connect the headphones with the circular jack to the iPhone 7 plus.
There are some things I do miss from my android (like the back button next to the home button), but I haven't had any issues since getting this iPhone.
The five things that drew me to my decision were:
1. Battery Life
2. Shatterproof
3. Water resistant
4. Weight
5.Price
The battery life is very strong. I can get through the day on one charge, even if I have apps like snapchat and Twitter open while playing my music.
The phone has fallen off my lap and I've dropped it a few times and no cracks were formed. Of course it landed on carpet, but hardwood floors are under it.
If you accidentally put your phone on the counter and water splashes on it, nothing happens (well it gets wet, but no damage)
The phone itself is very light. It's a tad bigger than the Note 4 I had, but so much lighter than the Note 4.
The price will vary on the amount of gigabytes, but our carrier, Verizon, had a holiday sale happening, so I got it cheaper than what it originally is.
I have a feeling that I will be sticking with the iPhone brand for a while because I really enjoy this phone.
