To Choose or not to Choose

Make your choice, because if you don't you already have.

To Choose or not to Choose

The world is not as it seems, the fabrication of society is merely a construct that is designed in order to achieve a certain goal in the functioning and normalization of human interaction. This means, more simply, that society is designed with something in mind.

Society is designed around an idea which comes from society itself, how society thinks it should be. Visions of perfection exist in a myriad of ways, visions from the media, products, and advertisements that want to be a certain way.

The very existence of labels is in fact foolishly misunderstood. Biological sex is a physical thing that can be determined. People argue about the existence of genders. This is foolish because there must be infinitely many genders, because stereotypes and labels are merely crystallizations of reality. To define something that is unique in such a way that it promotes misunderstanding by coalescing the idea with ideas that are created to promote a beginning understanding is foolish.

This assertion derives that individuals must all be different people. People make choices based on their perceptions, and their memories are very much responsible for shaping these perceptions. But are choices based on our perceptions? Does free will even exist? What is existence? What is the essence of existence? Free will couldn’t exist without the context for it to exist in. What does this mean? That the very nature of free will corresponds to its existence, meaning that the nature and meaning of existence is created with existence itself.

This must mean that since the nature and essence of an individual is only created with their existence, that every individual must be unique. If this is the case, then their interpretations of existence, and things such as genders must be unique.

This applies to all things, and if we want to move forward in the world we must critically analyze what our own existence is. We must ask ourselves who we are, what we want from this world. This is the nullification of a majority of the world’s problems. Many people are sheep and do not ask, they fall to the whims of cruel people whose intentions are purely to strip others of their unique existences and force them into servitude to further their own corrupt intentions.

When people stand together against this, the world will change greatly. People speak of great weapons and they fight wars which are merely distractions from reality. The true war is that of understanding, for it is the panacea for a world that is poisoned with ignorance. Recently many people did not vote in the election with excuses along the lines of: if I have to pick between two evils, I would rather not pick at all.

This is the case in the war against ignorance. The sides are ignorance and understanding, and if you choose not to choose to fight for a side, you are willfully supporting the side of ignorance. The side of ignorance is inherently against the uniqueness and true worth of the individual. So you have to ask yourself, which side will you fight for? Fighting is not a choice, because to exist is to fight.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
