Every action you take, every interpretation you make, every time you eat a piece of cake, you make a choice. This choice probably includes the typical, dope tradition of saying "I don't care," or "I don't know."
Think about the last time you went to dinner with your friends or family. Do you remember when your one veto became 10 different vetoes? Do you remember when you were hungry? Do you remember when you wanted dinner at 7:00 P.M. but then the clock read 9:30 P.M. and you still hadn't "decided"?
Truth is, you did decide. You decided at 7:00 P.M. Whether you had an opinion on the decision or not (which by the way, everyone knows you had an opinion, you know your favorite restaurant), you decided whether or not to participate in the discussion. You made a choice.
Choices take place at every second of the day. But at the brain of the world where everyone connects, the news focuses on very few choices that make good stories and big impacts.
If you make a choice every second of the day and in one day there are 86400 seconds, then you make 86400 choices. However, as we see on the news, just one of these 86400 choices can define the way you are perceived.
You know who you are. You know what emotions you feel. You know which ideas stem from these emotions. You know.
You know you have a contagious smile. You know you enjoy the company of others. You know your passions. You know.
However, do you believe that the company you surround yourself knows you if you don't make the choices you feel internally?
Pinocchio made this mistake of not being honest with his choices and his nose grew extremely long. Don't let your nose grow long.
Cinderella's prince made the choice to wait until he found the right fit for the shoe. He didn't make the choice to fall for one of the evil twin sisters because he wanted to be himself and be with people who love him for who he is.
Making choices is about taking your thoughts and organizing them into meaning. Meaning of which holds the truth of who you are, what you believe in, and what you are craving for dinner tonight.
