In The Never-Ending Chipotle Versus Qdoba Debate, Here's Why Chipotle Always Wins For Me

The debate of the century that needs to be recognized, what's better, Chipotle or Qdoba? Both restaurant companies carry super similar menus and prices. Overall everything is very similar, but many people choose either Chipotle or Qdoba when it comes to this debate, they both can't win.

It's a hard choice to make when it comes to which food chain is better, both places have high-quality Mexican-style cuisine with plenty of meal options to choose from, and at fairly low prices. Some people find either place better than the other for many different reasons, some people say chipotle's chicken is much better than Qdoba or that Qdoba's queso is the better of the two.

It all comes down to personal preference and the experiences you have at either restaurant.

There are huge similarities when it comes to both of the food chains, but there are certain differences that can make your opinions on both of the food businesses differ. When it comes to the difference in pricing for both food chains, Chipotle is the winner on cheaper meals (even if they do charge you extra for guacamole), according to www.fastfoodmenuprices.com, Qdoba's prices are higher in general.

However, they do have an advantage for not charging extra for guacamole or queso.

Even if Qdoba's food is a little bit more money than chipotle, both places have fairly cheap prices for how much food you are getting for each meal, especially since their burritos and bowls are very large. You are really getting your money's worth for the high quantity of food you're receiving. If you're solely choosing which restaurant is better based on the prices, there isn't much of a difference and overall doesn't give you much of a valid reason to pick between the two with this reasoning.

Quality of food is something that is becoming very important to consumers as this country ages. Chipotle and Qdoba both try to have high-quality food, especially chipotle because of the E.coli poisoning that happened three years ago and infected 55 people. Ever since the breakout of E.coli, Chipotle has put quality and freshness of the food they use first, "Chipotle takes pride in the process of obtaining food for their restaurants.

According to their website, their food is produced in very specific ways; even their cheese and sour cream are provided by "pasture-raised" cows" (CollegiateTimes).

Both places use high-quality dairy and meat products, especially since both of their brands are all about these foods.

Chipotle lets their customers know where their food is coming from, "Chipotle comes out on top when it comes to where it sources its ingredients, says nutritionist, personal trainer, and health and wellness coach Jamie Logie of Regained Wellness. "Chipotle appears to be ahead of [Qdoba] health-wise in that their meats are naturally raised and free of hormones or antibiotics," (Chowhound).

Due to the sourcing of Chipotle's ingredients, it gives customers trust in their freshness and quality of their goods.

Having trust in a restaurants quality of food and service is something every restaurant should strive to have.

In conclusion, both restaurants have very similar prices, food quality, and products but, Chipotle's great service, tasty food, and low prices make them the overall winner for me, personally.

Both food corporations are known for their amazing service for the customers, and for most of their restaurants, the atmosphere and customer service will depend on the employees working since both places are chain restaurants and not based locally.

Since everyone will have their own personal opinion on this specific topic, I don't think this debate will end anytime soon.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
