Growing up, I always scoffed at my mother for spending hours watching only HGTV. Little did I know, a time would soon come when I would also get sucked into marathons of renovation and real estate shows on that same network. My all-time favorite show on HGTV is "Fixer Upper," which follows husband and wife super-squad Chip and Joanna Gaines through the process of helping people buy and renovate a fixer-upper (hence the title), and turn it into their dream home. The first season of the show aired in 2014, and I was hooked from the first five minutes. I could, and do, binge watch this show, sometimes eating up an entire weekend. Chip and "Jojo," as he affectionately calls her, are truly relationship goals. Here are a few reasons why.

1. They have a rock-solid faith and center their relationship around it.

Joanna's grace is absolutely inspiring, and the faith that they share is incredibly strong. There is no doubt that that faith is what has helped them build such a happy and successful life and marriage.

2. They're always making each other laugh...

3. Because Chip is a major goofball.

Seriously, is there ever a dull moment living and working with him? Probably not.

4. They have the most adorable kiddos...

My favorite parts of the show are when their four kids come and visit them while they're working on a project. So sweet and adorable! I can't help but wonder, who watches them when Mom and Dad are working? Because I'd volunteer to drive to Waco and babysit anytime. Or they can just adopt me; who doesn't love an extra tax deduction? It's their choice. Also: How do they keep a couch white with four kids? They must teach me their ways.

5. Not to mention a fabulous farm.

Growing up in the country, I always dreamed of having a little farm full of animals of my own. The Gaines' farms has it all: goats, chickens, cows, greenhouse and Chip seems to come home with new puppies every other episode. Their house is also a gorgeous representation of Joanna's design style.

6. They work together seamlessly...

Even with all the fun they have, Chip and Joanna are still wildly successful in their business together. This isn't something most husbands and wives are able to do. Chip handles all of the construction (and demo, seen above), while Joanna is a master of design. How many husband and wife pairs do you know that would work together this well?

7. And really complement each other with their differences.

Chip is a bouncing ball of unbridled energy, while Joanna is a bit more reserved. They make these differences their biggest strength, combining their forces together to be rock stars in their businesses. They prove that opposites really do attract, and can even make excellent business partners.

8. Chip always shows his love for Joanna...

PRECIOUS.

9. Even in the cheesiest of ways.

Don't we all want someone to gush over us like this?

10. Jo reciprocates this precious appreciation for her husband, of course.

And how could she not? He's an adorable goofball who showers his wife with affection, and I love to see her giving it right back to him. That's what relationships are supposed to be about.

11. They are able to poke fun at each other, too.

Often, the jokes are surrounding Chip's dadbod. Or the time when he ate a bug found in a home and tried to kiss Jo afterward.

12. They also bear a striking resemblance to my favorite Disney couple.

Is it just me, or do they look extraordinarily like Pocahontas and John Smith? Coincidence? I think not. My bet is on time travel, which adds another thing to their list of awesomeness.

13. They support each other to chase their dreams.

At the end of the day, isn't that what we all want in a spouse? Chip encouraged Joanna to pursue her dream of opening up a boutique, resulting in Magnolia Market. They do the same for their kids, pushing them to go after what they're passionate about, whether it's playing baseball or reading books.

While every relationship is different, Chip and Joanna Gaines definitely exemplify some characteristics of the strongest relationships. You can't help but fall in love with this couple and their family. Watch this adorable video about their love story, then make sure to tune in to "Fixer Upper" on HGTV to witness their adorableness for yourself.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
