Our childhood was all that in a bag of chips

Childhood Memories We All Have

Looking at what kids do today like play on Xbox and PlayStation, not going outside, not really knowing what real cartoons are, not experiencing the awesome stuff we had when we was growing up is upsetting. It just makes us think back to our own childhood and the blessings we had. Here are 14 things we all miss from our childhood:

1.Waking up early to watch the best cartoons

I think we can agree that the 90’s had the best cartoons.

2.The awesome toys

There were so many more toys but one of the most memorable is the skip it.

3.The original heartthrob

“Have mercy!” Uncle Jesse won over the hearts of girls everywhere.

4.The advancements in technology

Before Iphones and Xbox’s we had gameboys which was one of the biggest gaming advances ever.

5.This scene made you cry

You screamed with them, you rode bikes with them and you was terrified when the FBI came after ET. But when he goes home it was one of the first heartbreaks we’ve had.

6.These were the best plates ever

The commercials to the variety these were obviously the best thing ever.

7.Playing outside

Playing outside was the best thing to do as a kid. You never got bored and if you did you went and got into the creek.

8.The wonders of candy

Ok so the candy now is okay. But going to the grocery store and getting to pick out a piece to bring home; the variety back then was so much better.

9.Disney movies were at their peak

When a Disney original movie was about to come on you knew it was gonna be lit.

10.Dial up

The noises will forever haunt our nightmares since we have this new radical thing called wifi.

11.Always wanting one of these shoes

I actually had a pair of these and fell every time I wore them. But either way they was so cool.

12.This is your jam

Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, New Kids on The Block, Savage Garden, etc. We was blessed with the era of boy bands.

13.Blockbuster

Today's kids will never know the thrill of walking in here and picking up a movie and some of the bomb candy.

14.The fashion was the bomb dot com

Of course there was aqua net and scrunchies along with very bright colors. But I couldn’t pass up the picture of the 90’s iconic group “Friends”.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
