Ah, computer games. If you grew up like me, these are the crowning jewels of ages 5-11 before the PS2 (or any generation) was a household thing and years before the Wii even entered the market. If you're also like me, then you probably still play a lot of these games, on the DL of course. You may have even researched getting a cheap PC just to play these games on the side. So in no particular order, here is your childhood.

1. Freddi Fish: The Case of the Stolen Conch Shell

Freeing creepy Uncle Blemy was such a feat.

2. Putt Putt Saves the Zoo

The best was giving hot chocolate to the frozen snake: satisfaction.

3. Backyard Sports (literally any of them)

These little round headed kids made me feel better about my lack of physical activity.

4. Reader Rabbit

My favorite was Reader Rabbit 1st Grade where you saved the play from the weird bear.

5. Living Books

Ruff's Bone was a personal gem because it had so many levels and it was about a dog.

6. Arthur's Computer Adventure

"Did you jiggle the switch?"

7. My Little Pony: Friendship Gardens

Easily the most glitchy game ever, but designing your own pony was so worth it.

8. My Disney Kitchen

Why was burning pasta so fun?

9. Freddi Fish and the Haunted Schoolhouse

The true horror game for children.

10. Putt Putt Travels Through Time

The theme song still gets stuck in my head 10 years later.

11. Kid Pix

The ultimate "not paying attention in computer class" for every 2nd grader.

12. Reader Rabbit Sparkalot

I still think about those weird bug things.

13. Barbie Riding Club

Also unbelievably glitchy but so fun.

14. 101 Dalmatians Animated Storybook

Matching the dogs to their owners was a pivotal time.

15. Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2

It came pre-downloaded on my first laptop.

16. Spy Fox: Dry Cereal

Teaching kids how to be suave at age 5.

17. Pajama Sam in "No Need To Hide When It's Dark Outside"

Everyone's hero.

18. Nancy Drew: Curse of Blackmoor Manor*

Nancy: "You had a guinea pig?"
Jane: "Yes but it died"
Nancy: "WHEN?"

*Nancy Drew is not just a childhood game it is an always game. Also all Nancy Drew games are amazing, this one is just extra amazing because the game play is so long and its kind of/ pretty creepy.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
