When we started this journey I don't think any of us knew what we were in store for. A season of ups and downs, frustration and goofing off, and lots of tears and laughter. You started off as strangers and it was our mission to make you one whole unit. Multiple personalities blending together to form a perfect harmony. I would say that we achieved that. We watched each of you grow more into the most spirited, beautiful and incredible girls.

You may have gotten frustrated with us at times. You may have loved us at others. But one thing is for sure, we did everything we could for the benefit of you and the team. It's not easy feeling like we hold the key to your dreams. You are told by us to leave everything out there on that mat. However it's our job to do the same for you. Put our all into you and your routine so we can give you the best chance possible to succeed.

We push, you pull and that's how our family begins. As coaches we watch you, each of you. We know your strengths, we know your weaknesses and we know where to put you so you can shine like the thousand degree stars that each of you are. When you don't think you can do it, we remind you that you can. It's not said because it's supposed to be. It's said because we without a shadow of a doubt know your potential even when you can't see it yourself. We have to be hard on you at times for you to realize all the amazing things you can accomplish. (and have accomplished) If you don't try, you will NEVER know.

Through these past months even when you couldn't stand us, know that we loved you. Know that we have and always will believe in you. Your army that will forever have your back. The ones to pick you up when you fall and who will wipe away your tears as we cry with you. P.S we hate seeing those hearts of yours break. We are in this together. We hate seeing disappointment in your eyes. If you saw yourselves through our eyes your view would be totally different. That self doubt, those insecurities. You'd see that we have nothing but pride watching you, even if you don't have it yourself.

You have two minutes and thirty seconds to show the world all that we already see in you. Let that brightness shine through. Realize we are right in front of you through thick and thin no matter what the outcome is. Just do us a favor. Let go of the what ifs, put your trust in team and fight for what is rightfully yours. Not for us, not for your parents, you fight for you.

With love,

Your biggest fans.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
