With the Wild Card round over and by the time this article is shared we'll be looking forward to the AFC and NFC championships, there are some things you'll need to have for a great experience.

1. Your team in the playoffs

Sorry Bears fans, you'll be left out of this item for quite a while. If you're a Patriots fan or a Packer fan you'll most likely find your team in the playoffs every year. You gotta have your team to root for in the playoffs otherwise your cheering for teams because they have a cool logo, mascot, or you like that one player who retired from there and since he was on their team they're okay in your eyes. Overall, it adds more fun to the games.

2. Food

Get all the greasy, savory food you can get your hands on. You'll need chips and dip that nobody will touch. Finger food, snacks, and other stuff that isn't quite a meal but it'll be what you're eating for the rest of the day.

3. Jersey/Football Apparel

If your team is in the playoffs, you gotta wear a jersey or at least a sweatshirt or something to show your team pride. If your team is not in the playoffs, you can easily mark yourself as the opposition as you'll be "that guy" who cheers for the other team while everyone else cheers for the other. It'll put you right into the spirit of the game and you can camouflage yourself as a serious fan that way.

4. A BIG TV

Whoever has the biggest TV, that's where you're going. You can't crowd around a little TV, that's just primitive. Why not just gather around the radio like in Grandpap's days? Just kidding, even your grandfather had a TV, get one, a big one.

5. Seating

Couch, chairs, laps, whatever, make sure everyone has some room. There's nothing worse than being the one guy standing. It sucks for them, it sucks for you. Figure it out.

6. Booze

Let's be real. You've needed a drink anyway and this is a perfect excuse. Plus, if you get drunk, you'll be surrounded by great food, so it's a win-win. But please drink responsibly and have fun.

7. Something to break if your team loses

If your team loses, it will not stand. Grab a glass, a plate, a football, or your jersey and throw it. It's football, you can rough house, it's cool.

8. Make sarcastic comments

Lastly, as a football tradition you should always groan and moan about the commentators, the refs, the coach, the commercials, and that one player that didn't score a touchdown on the first time they were given the ball. Everyone can make comments because everyone knows the basics of the game and they can join in and agree with the football gurus of the group. However, it's all about the love of the game and I hope you have fun watching them.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Barn Pros

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.
