Danielle Steel is one of the best-selling authors in the world. Her romance novels make her very famous. Along with romance, these novels depict realistic and contemporary hardships like deaths, divorces, and family relationships. No matter how different the novels are from each other, Danielle Steel will never lose sight of her writing. There is always a sense of sentimentality, connections, morals, and happiness in each story.

The first time I read her book was during seventh grade. "Honor Thyself" was at my house within a cabinet where storybooks were stored. It was about an actress who gets amnesia after a bomb in Paris knocked her out unconsciousness. She has to find out the missing pieces of her memories by reconnecting with her friend, family, and ex-lover. Throughout the story, I imagined everything that occurred in the story and it felt as if it was a movie. After I finished the book, I liked it and I thought that this author was fine.

During sophomore year, I went to the high school library to borrow books. I had trouble in finding something to read because nothing interested me. I saw Danielle Steel's books on a bookshelf and seeing her name triggered a flashback. She wrote the fine story "Honor Thyself." Since the first try turned out well for, I should try out another book that she read. A book that caught my eye was "Sunset in St. Tropez." It was about a group of friends that went on a vacation in St. Tropez. The women in the group had conflicts with their adjustment to a new member in the group. The more they stayed at the island, the closer they got to the new friend. I realized that I made a very good choice. I saw many wonderful and suspenseful moments in front of me as I read the story. After I returned the book, I did not mind reading more books from Danielle Steel.

As high school got farther away from my young times, I read more books from Danielle Steel. Her writing style ensorcelled me. Her description of the characters was very detailed and the details made me want to know more about them. The flow of each story went by very smoothly which makes each story comprehensible. Every time I finish reading her books, I always swell with happiness in the end. I always catch a moral and connection from them. They serve as an importance in my life and I refer back to their importance in my memory. Out of every book I read from her, I do not have a favorite. Danielle Steel writes precious stories that have specialty and beauty in them. If I never read her books, then I will miss out on something wonderful and meaningful in life. Even though the stories are fiction, I can still see the reality in them because these issues do happen in real life. They teach me how to handle problems, how to be an adult, and what does it mean to feel a certain emotion towards a circumstance. Throughout my life, I never thought of seeking an inspiration for myself, but as of now, I surprisingly found such an inspiration for myself.

Currently, I attend college and I have been busy throughout the semester. I have not read a book from Danielle Steel for a while. The last time I read her book was this past August and the recent book of that time was "The Right Time." It was a very inspiring and touching story about a woman who blossoms into mystery author as she experiences hardships and rewards throughout her life. The story ended on a good note and it served as a good note for me as well. Everything, especially the hardships in life that tend to ruin us, will come to an end. I will read a new book from her when the right time comes for me to do so. It may not come right now, but it will definitely come someday. Despite this delay, I can still at least give Danielle Steel praise. She definitely deserves it!

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.
