We all know how hot it is out there, but that doesn't mean we should waste it away inside! Here's some tips to survive the summer.

1. Use a Reusable Water Bottle

Make sure you always have a reusable water bottle!! It saves money AND the Earth!

2. Bike on the Side Walks

Just because it's hot doesn't mean we should increase our carbon footprint by driving. Try to adjust your bike route so that you get to go by Colonial Lake or on a shady sidewalk! My advice is to avoid Calhoun. That street is so hot.

3. Go to the Beach later!

If you go to the beach around 5, you still have so much sun time left, and you can get dinner after!

4. Sundresses and Vintage Shorts

Ladies.... I don't know about you but the last thing I would wanna wear in the summer is tight constricting shorts. You gotta breathe!!! Sundresses are the key.

5. Deodorant!!!

Please y'all.....

6. Embrace the Frizz

Don't waste your time on hair products and straighteners. Just embrace the frizz. That's all you can do.

7. Salads

If you're like me, you want outdoor seating all year long, but right now it is just way too hot to eat hot food outside. I've been really indulging in salads.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
