The Charge 2 vs. The Flex 2

As if Fitbit couldn't get any more advanced and come out with any more products, two new fitness trackers were recently added to the multitude of existing trackers intended to motivate you to be active. The two new trackers are called The Charge 2 and The Flex 2. Since both are equally technologically and fashionably exceptional, how can you decide which to buy? Each tracker has different accessories built in to aid in maximizing your daily activity and making your life easier by providing loads of health resources and other information. Below are the different components of each tracker, to help you choose which one to buy.

Are you interested in starting circuit training? The Charge 2 is for you. The Charge 2 has created a new interval feature that can aid you in fast paced training sessions followed by rest periods, during your workout. According to Livestrong, circuit training is one of the best ways to maximize the amount of calories burned during a workout, and The Charge 2 is the perfect workout companion for that strategy.

Do you want to be able to wear your Fitbit in the water without being afraid of destroying it? One of The Flex 2's proudest new features is its ability to be worn in water up to 30 feet deep. Not only are you able to get it wet, but it also continues to track your activity while you're in water, such as counting laps and calories burned during your swim.

Are you looking for a simple band to wear instead of one with a large screen on it? The Flex 2 has a new minimalist design that is less of a hassle to wear. This design still gives similar information as The Charge 2 without the annoyance of having something large on your wrist, just like the Apple Watch. If you're not into big accessories, The Flex 2 has a slimmer design than the other models, so it is even more discrete than ever. Finally, the sensor in The Flex 2 is removable so if you aren't into the design of the tracker, you can easily insert it into another bracelet.

Do you get stressed easily and have trouble calming down? The Charge 2 has an added application that allows you to reduce stress through breathing exercises. In this way, it helps you not only have a healthy body, but a healthy mind as well. According to The American Institute of Stress, there are many health benefits to relaxation through breathing, which include decreased blood pressure and relaxed muscles. Using this application on The Charge 2 daily is a great way to clear your mind during the busy work or school week.

Do you want to spend less than $100 on your new Fitbit? The Flex 2 will be released at $99, which is a great deal for all of the useful features that come with it. The Charge 2 will be priced at $149, which is still very fair, considering its large screen and variety of activity modes that can be tracked. It is also still quite a bit cheaper than the Apple Watch. Similar to the Apple Watch though, The Charge 2 notifies you of any incoming calls you may receive and any calendar events that are synced up to your phone. This is a nice feature if you want these helpful luxuries without spending the extra money to get an Apple Watch.

The Charge 2 and Flex 2 will be released in September and October. Although they are used for essentially the same reasons, there are major differences between the two that will allow you some freedom to choose which will be most beneficial for your life. Fitbit products are great motivators, tracking your every move and giving you a healthier, happier lifestyle.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.
