High school wasn't the best time for anyone... unless you peaked in high school (in which case I'm so sorry for you). But Grey's Anatomy is always a good time, so I put the two together to see what our favorite doctors at Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital would be like if we were to rewind to their high-school days.

Derek Shepherd

The Popular Guy. Derek (a.k.a. McDreamy) is an all star in the ER, and would dominate high school with just as much grace and confidence. Derek is the cool guy that every girl wants to date and every boy wants to be. He'd be Prom King, get good grades without even trying, and get voted most likely to succeed in life. You want to hate him because he's so dang perfect, but how can you hate that smile?

Meredith Grey

The Debbie Downer. Lets be honest, Meredith is the pessimist of the group, lets be honest. She is the kid who has gone to the same school since kindergarten, and knows every single kid and teacher. All she talks (or better said, whines) about is leaving town never to return again.

Alex Karev

The Bad Boy. He's the type of guy you know is no good for you, but that just makes him even more attractive. He wears his black leather jacket to school and rides a motorcycle *without a helmet*. He skips more class that he attends.

Christina Yang

The teacher's pet. She would win class valedictorian with no competition, and get a full ride to the Ivy League school of her choice. Not only is she obnoxiously smart (and very confident in her abilities), but she's always sucking up to teachers, which makes you hater her even more.

George O'Malley

The Nerd. George is the quiet, shy kid you don't even realize is in your class until the teacher calls on him. Although he may not be the cutest and may not be the most outgoing, on the rare occasion that you do talk to him- you realize he truly is a sweet guy.

Izzie Stevens

The Theatre Gal. She is the girl always starring in a new play, or auditioning for a solo in the choir's next performance. She loves doing improve in drama class, because she has a huge imagination.

April Kepner

\

The religious one. April leads the prayer group that meets once a week at lunch to discuss a new bible passage, She's very kind and caring, and always wants to help others. She recites bible passages whenever appropriate, and anytime your conversation goes longer than five minutes she tries to convert you.

Jackson Avery

The Rich Boy. Jackson is the pretty boy, who comes from a nice family, He's always dressed well, and probably the preppiest guy you know. When he's not in school, you can find him playing golf at the country club.

Callie Torres

The Band Chick. Just like Callie is outgoing and not afraid to speak her mind in the E.R., she is equally bold and expressive as a lead singer of a punk band. Her lyrics would mainly bash her most recent exes. She'd wear chokers before they were even cool, and have a new shade of neon in her hair every week.

Arizona Robbins

The Animal Lover. Arizona is the loving soul, who tries to help every creature she comes across (and gets furious when you try to kill a bug). She loves animals, people, and helping others in anyway she can. She is the President of the Service Club, and stayed in girl scouts till she graduated high school.

Amelia Shepard

The Hipster/Stoner. Amelia is the kid that does everything within her power to piss off mommy and daddy. She doesn't care what people think of her, and most definitely could care less about trying to "fit in". She does her own thing. She has a bit of a drug problem, but is in denial, because she thinks everyone who tries to help her is against her. She probably just acts this way for attention, because she is jealous of her sibling who is everyone's' obvious favorite.

Owen Hunt

The Boy Scout. Owen would become an Eagle Scout with ease. He is all around patriotic to the bone. Raised by a family of vets, he knew he would serve for our country before he knew how to walk. He is rather quiet, and turns to nature to find himself rather than opening up to other people.

Maggie Pierce

The Cheerleader. She is team captain of the cheerleading squad. Her positive energy and enthusiasm would lead the team. As her senior superlative, she would be voted most outgoing.

Mark Sloan

The Sporty Douche. He's the cool guy, who is also a total jerk. As starting pitcher for the baseball team he gets basically whatever he wants. He's a total smooth talker and can get his way out of anything, and even the teachers sometimes flirt with him. As beautiful as his jawline may be, you still sort of despise him and his cockiness.

Ben Warren

The Class Clown. This kiddo always seems to be cracking a new joke, and often finding himself in trouble because he's taking his humor just a tad bit too far. He's normally pretty funny, until he just doesn't know when to shut up and you start to feel somewhere between annoyed and sorry for the kid.

Miranda Bailey

*That* Teacher. This is the teacher everyone warns you about. Her course is difficult, and takes a lot of effort and hard work. However, she will teach you more and better than any of your past teachers. She cares more, and truly want's to see you succeed.

Chief Webber

The Cool Principal. Yes, he is charge of you and could get you expelled (or fired in the case of Grey's). But he's not that kind of guy. He's caring, funny, and more like a friend than a superior. He makes school fun.

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.

Amidst my hectic college career, I always find time for one thing, even on the busiest weeks: Parks and Recreation. This show has made me laugh and has made me cry, but most of all I have related to this show more than I would like to admit.
