Change Can Be Good, Depending On How You Look At It

Having a constant good in your life may sometimes require taking a step back at the same time.

There are the good constants in life. The ones where you are able to love what you are doing for long periods of time without ever feeling like you will leave it or give it up for other things. Yet, what if those other things deserve to have a chance in this life of yours?

Depending on how one looks at it, change can be a good thing. While it may not seem that way at first, later it can show the true colors of what is to come next. It probably won't happen within a second, day, or month, but most likely it will happen to you soon.

Changing the course of what you always thought to be true can be frightening, especially when it had been something you were doing for the longest of times, but if your heart isn't in it anymore, then why continue to do it?

Not only are you wasting your time, but wasting whatever thing you were a part of and its time.

It's time to be comfortable with the uncomfortable because that's the only way you will get those experiences in life and learn what other types of things you like to do. You won't be able to experience what this world has to offer if you are stuck in the same location when you know that there is so much more out there for you.

The world isn't ending, you aren't losing your mind or your soul for that matter, everything will be fine even if it doesn't seem like it at first.

However, that can be hard to come by, but sometimes it just requires you to breathe, taking it day by day until you are able to put your all in what you truly love.

Learning to give up one task or something dear to you for the other one may seem like betrayal but it's anything but. If you truly love what you are doing, but you want to incorporate it into another aspect of your life and dedicate more time on that end, you deserve to have that opportunity to do so. If it will benefit you and you want it with everything in our being then you have the chance to get what you really want.

You aren't quitting, but continuing another part of your life that contains so much more for you to discover. You don't have to worry, because you will be just as good as what you did previously as long as you put the same effort into the next journey.

So often society puts people down for switching gears, but you can only learn to drive if you test out those gears yourself until it clicks. Cheesy, but hopefully the point gets across to the readers. Change has the opportunity to show your true talents and the endless possibilities that await. Try to look on the bright side of things whenever possible.

Goodbyes don't have to be the end-all be-all, maybe you can come back. That is if they let you (sometimes it be like that, but you just have to prove those folks wrong).

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
