Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays and I believe it is for many others too, because of the food. Thanksgiving dinner can get monotonous with the same dishes year after year. Here are five recipes to change up the menu in an easy and creative way.
Bacon-wrapped stuffing bites
Want to change up the Thanksgiving staple of stuffing? Try these bacon-wrapped stuffing bites. These are a great appetizer at the dinner table or can be made post-Thanksgiving with the leftovers. They are also super quick to make with only a 10 minutes prep time, so any novice chef can make these delicious bites.
Butternut squash hummus
A fall twist on a staple dip, butternut squash hummus is another great appetizer for Thanksgiving. This is also an easy recipe that only requires a food processor to make the hummus. This dip is great paired with vegetable chips, making it also very healthy and fresh.
Cranberry cornmeal biscuits
Cranberry cornmeal biscuits are a slightly longer recipe but also a great addition to the Thanksgiving table instead or boring dinner rolls. These biscuits bring in the classic cranberries that many enjoy on this holiday, but in a new and creative way that many will enjoy.
Turkey, cranberry, brie crescent braid
It is often difficult to figure out what to do with all your Thanksgiving leftovers, but this recipe incorporates the turkey and cranberries, with the addition of brie cheese all in a crescent roll crust. This can make a delicious dinner while being very easy to make.
Mashed sweet potatoes with marshmallows
A vegetarian dish is usually needed at the dinner table, and mashed sweet potatoes are delicious and easy to make. With this recipe all you need is a slow cooker with sweet potatoes. Once the potatoes are done you can add marshmallows to make them a sweet treat.
