Ask anyone and everyone who has been. College is hard. It's easy, confusing, fun, and overall, it is extremely emotional. Much like the "Friends" series, college is a journey you will never forget. And who better to explain it than the one and only Chandler Bing.
Experiencing college teaches you many new talents. You might not have even thought some were humanly possible yet.
Getting up and going to your early morning class does not always mean you are functioning properly or even aware of some of the things you say, which could not turn out so well for you.
Stressing over any big paper we have to write or any exam is terrible. Ultimately, we end up hating ourselves and wishing we never took the class in the first place.
The best thing, by far is when you have a lecture class. Those classes never really take attendance. It's practically like you are invisible, which in this case is a good thing.
Being in college, it's important to set aside a "me day." That's the only way you will remain sane throughout the week. Your "me day" is supposed to allow you to relieve some of the unwanted stress that builds up throughout the week.
Sometimes you can get lucky with the food you'll have in your cafeteria. When you are lucky, it seems like all you do is eat whether it's the pasta bar or the cheesecake that always seems to be calling your name. The freshman 15 is real, but it tastes so good.
Depending on your major, the majority of your classes can end up being on the same day. Which means you get no breaks long enough to take your daily naps anymore.
If you haven't declared a major yet, then it may feel like you are just sort of lost. Don't worry, you still have some time left.
Classes. You either love them or you hate them. No matter if your classes are big or small, making friends can be hard when you don't belong to a fraternity or a sorority. It turns into a situation where you seem to be marketing yourself for friends.
Along with your classes being hard, your professor could be "that teacher" that loves to assign big papers over break. To them, "we were on a break" means absolutely nothing.
Lastly as a college student, everyone tells you just how much fun living in the dorms is, but they fail to tell you just how thin the walls are, which then becomes extremely unlucky if you live on a floor that is filled with many inconsiderate people.
