Mental health seems to be one of the most talked about topics lately after hip hop artist Kid Cudi recently revealed his struggles with depression and after contemporary R&B artist Kehlani reportedly tried to commit suicide earlier this year. These situations aren't the only ones helping spread awareness. Last year in March of 2015, Chance the Rapper directed and starred in a short film by Vice which revolved around heavy topics of depression, suicide and love. In the film Chance's character is single, works a dead-end job and lives on his own. The 22 minute film has a very surprising ending that will surely give you chills.
This film illustrates what it's like for the average person suffering from depression in America.
