One Of Many Challenges: 100 Layers

How much is Too Much?

It's an on-going media trend. Youtubers everywhere are starting to take on a new trend of putting on any beauty product they can get their hands on, and see what the ramifications are. These can range from foundation, to lipstick, mascara, face masks -- to wax, duct tape and even glitter glue. What are the results? Layers and layers of product stuck to their face as well as signs of discomfort. It may seem really interesting at first, but is it really? Some say its unique and some are leaning towards taking a challenge a tad bit too far, so what is it really...unique or extreme? Let's look at a few cases and see for ourselves..

100 Layers of Lipstick

Almost every girl loves lipstick, but 100 layers? According to some YouTubers, some mentioned extremely dry and chapped lips after the challenge. Taking off the lipstick wasn't as hard, but some of the after effects are to be expected, after all..it is 100 layers..of lipstick! Tasha Lee Lyn's video is pretty awesome though! The process of putting countless shades on your lips can be enjoyable, seeing how many can truly go on your lips before they start to dry and become irritable.

100 layers of ...glue?

Okay, so the maybe this could be a bit discomforting. I mean, imagine yourself with glue on your face. Not so pleasant, am I right? Now picture 100 layers of the same, sticky substance. *Shudders* But hey, does anyone look at the effects it could have on the skin?

100 Layers of Nail Polish

Above we have @simplynailogical's 100 layers of nail polish. The different array of nails really does look interesting, and would I try it? Possibly. However, imagine taking those off? They give off an appearance of being "super-glued" to the actual nail itself, and although I will say it's pretty cool, I can't imagine how painful it would be to take it off. It could possibly be compared to taking off acrylics, by yourself, at home OR it could be an adventure! Who knows? Would I try it? Maybe.

100 Layers of WAX

Wax. Wax. Wax, you guys! How cool does this look? I even wonder how the person got it all around to fit! How hard do you think would it be to take the wax off? Is this extreme, I'll leave that up to you! What are the after effects of having wax on their for so long, especially if there's a 100 layers of it. What are the odds of it going into the sound port?

All in all, above are a few cases of the 100 layers challenge, whether it be wax, nail polish, lipstick or even glue. There's many more where that came from, but is it unique? Extreme? That's entirely up to you to think depending on what is used. The challenge is pretty cool in my opinion, after all...who wouldn't want to see a 100 layers of anything on someone's face or even an item?!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
