From my experience, one either loves Chacos or they intensely despise them. My field hockey team is a great example of these different opinions. As soon as I found out that I would be studying abroad in Thailand, I started research on what to pack. After reading multiple blogs and articles I found that Chacos are the shoe to pack for months in Thailand, so I jumped on the bandwagon. Since that moment, I have taken my Chacos on most of my adventures abroad and created a photo journal to share with others!
In certain spots on the river the water was too low and we had to get off the bamboo raft and walk for a little. (Chiang Mai, Thailand)
After a long day playing with elephants, we relaxed by the side of this amazing waterfall. (Chiang Mai, Thailand)
My feet are a little dirty, but what can you expect when you go on a three-hour hike? (Chiang Mai, Thailand)
Not only did the shoes help me survive the three-hour hike, but also managed to help me on the two-hour mountain bike! (Chiang Mai, Thailand)
Yes, my feet are gross. This was after the three-hour hike and two-hour mountain biking! Despite the vigorous activities, I did not have a single blister! (Just extremely dirty feet.) (Chiang Mai, Thailand)
Meeting new friends with my Chacos. This little guy hopped up on my leg and I thought my dad threw mud at me. Good thing I didn't try to wipe the "mud" off! (Chiang Mai, Thailand)
My chacos just love the beach! (Sanur Beach, Bali, Indonesia)
Exploring Tegalalang Rice Terrace. (Ubud, Bali, Indonesia)
Trying not to fall over into the mud as I try to get a better picture with the Rice Terrace. (Ubud, Bali, Indonesia)
I just love hiking to waterfalls with my chacos! (Tegenungan Waterfall, Bali, Indonesia)
Didn't I say we liked the beach? (Railey Beach, Krabi, Thailand)
Although I went a gazillion other places, I didn't always find the time to stop and take a picture. My shoes have come a long way since I got them last Christmas and I wouldn't trade them for anything. Just exploring Thailand with the best possible shoes!
