Ceremony at the IMU Honors Hannah Wilson

A vigil ceremony honoring Hannah Wilson took place Saturday afternoon at Alumni Hall in the Indiana Memorial Union.

Hundreds of people gathered inside the union before the ceremony started, with lines stretching back past Whittenberger auditorium. As the ceremony began and people made their way inside, the room reached capacity. Many were unable to be inside, including The Odyssey. The door to alumni hall was slightly open, but nothing could be heard from outside.

After the ceremony, people gathered on the terrace outside of Alumni Hall as mourners released purple and lime green balloons into the air.

Others stood in front of the union to continue showing their support.
