Your Celebrity Spirt Animal, According to Science

Because Astrology is totally science, right?

For years, our good friend science has been helping us out. While it has told us that drinking can actually make you skinnier

and that carbs aren’t the devil, pretty much everyone knows there is one area of science that rises above the others as the most factual: astrology.

As a firm believer that your horoscope will tell you everything you need to know in life, I have expertly paired a celebrity that best embodies each sign. Again, I cannot emphasize enough how deeply this analysis is based in nothing but cold, hard facts.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20): Channing Tatum

You're strong and energetic, and just like Channing in "Magic Mike," you totally know how to work a crowd. You're supportive and would never let your friends down. You'll always let them know the important things, such as the fact that when they get in trouble they have "the right to remain an attorney."

Gemini (May 21 - June 20): Kanye West

You are quick-witted and creative, and your successes motivate those around you. Gemini are the twins, so you also have a sort of duality about you. In other words, like Yeezus, you're the definition of "get you a man who can do both."

Cancer (June 21 - July 22): Luke Bryan

A Cancer is traditional and loyal, just like Luke. As a Cancer, Luke shows his loyalty by continuing to write "Spring Break" country albums with titles like "Spring Break...Here to Party" even though he's, like, 39.

Leo (July 23 - August 22): Jennifer Lawrence

You're powerful and brave, with a killer sense of humor. Like J.Law, you can brighten up even the dullest of moments by throwing up a middle finger or accidentally-on-purpose tripping. Seriously, the next time you're bored, take a page from Jen's book and literally just fall over, it will be sure to liven things up.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22): Beyoncé

Who run the world? You. You aren't afraid to speak your mind and let others know how you feel. You're great at giving advice, but also will never forget anything so you know how to throw some major shade. Does anyone feel like a nice cold glass of lemonade?

Libra (September 23 - October 22): Kim Kardashian

Like Kim K, you probably get a lot of attention for your looks, but honestly it's more of a curse that you're like, really pretty. Stylish and charming, you can sometimes come off as a little vain, but you can't help it if there is perfect selfie lighting that you have to take advantage of, can you?

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21): Drake

Like Drake, you're confident and even a little elusive. You're complicated and love a challenge, but totally loyal to your roots. You have a tendency to keep your emotions private instead of sharing them, because why give your whole heart when you can share it like the last slice?

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 23): Britney Spears

You're a dreamer that doesn't like to be tied down in any way, whether it be by a place or even a hairstyle (we all remember Britney circa 2008). Like Brit, you know how to make a killer comeback when faced with challenges, and will only come out "Stronger" than yesterday.

Capricorn (December 24 - January 19): Kate Middleton

You're patient, graceful under pressure, and have enviable hair, just like our favorite princess. It's hard living in a world where not everyone is as class and put together as you are, isn't it?

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18): Oprah Winfrey

Like Oprah, you're generous and philanthropic, and can often be found giving away new cars and lifetime gym memberships to those around you. You're good in most situations because of your great communication skills. You are great at letting others know how you feel about the things you are passionate about, such as bread.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20): Justin Bieber

Like Justin, you can be soulful and deep, but often reflect on past mistakes. You're always honest, but sometimes you feel as though you're still trying to find your purpose in life. (Is it too late to say sorry for that pun?)

Aries (March 21 - April 29): James Franco

An Aries is adaptable, creative and spontaneous. You're always the life of the the party, and just like Franco, may even have the attitude of "Sprang Break forever."

Hopefully, finding your celeb spirit animal helped you learn a little more about your ~*true self*~ and gave you something to think about. Keep religiously reading your horoscope and maybe even more of your inner Kim, Drake or Channing will shine through.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
