16 Celebrity Couples We Constantly Sleep On But Really Shouldn't

In This Article:

As much as we hate to admit it, we can't help but follow the lives of our favorite celebrity couples. It's kind of like a real-life Disney movie and the inner children inside us simply won't allow us to ignore them.

More often than not though, the couples that are put into the spotlight are not the most swoon-worthy of them all. Snow White's mirror would be so disappointed in us. Lucky for you, I'm here to introduce you to the celebrity duos that we should actually be putting our faith in because they're definitely going to go all the way.

1. Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone

This hilarious comedic couple has been married since 2005, and is still killing the game. At the Oscars after party, they showed up in matching Adidas track suits. Need I say more?

2. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend

Chrissy and John are my OTP. They've been married since 2013 and have two insanely cute kids. While John is the one with the EGOT, Chrissy is definitely the comedian in that house. Not to mention they are both incredibly beautiful.

3. Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez

Jlo and Alex Rodriguez are just aging like fine wine. The couple has only just confirmed their relationship one year ago, but they clearly belong together.

4. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham

Rosie and Jason can constantly be seen as taking over the red carpet. This breathtaking couple has been engaged since 2016, and I am anxiously awaiting the perfect fairytale wedding they will no doubt deliver.

5. James Corden and Julia Carey

Everyone's favorite late night talkshow host has been married to his lovely wife since 2012. The couple has three adorable children who no doubt get a daily dose of hilarity from their adorable Dad.

6. Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara

2015 was the year of Sophia and Joe as they married that year in late November. Since then, they've been looking as smitten as ever as they've graced Instagram with their mutual love.

7. Darren Criss and Mia Swier

Darren and Mia are one of my personal favorite love stories. They celebrated their magical nuptials just this past February under a blanket of fairytale foliage. I know what you're thinking—a young couple making it in Hollywood? Oh, it's certain for them.

8. Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi

I might never have rooted for a couple more. This lovely couple got married in 2008 and have been the most unproblematic duo in celebrity history since then. They are known for spreading love all over the world and what on earth is more precious than that?

9. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson

A love that has lasted since 1988?! Look no further. Everyone's favorite movie man Tom Hanks has been married to the singer/actress Rita Wilson for 31 years. They too have aged like fine wine and continue to inspire young love birds around the world.

10. Elton John and David Furnish

I am just so in love with this precious little family.

11. Steve and Nancy Carell

The most dynamic duo in the comedy scene. How does so much talent stem from one couple?

12. David and Victoria Beckham

Posh doesn't even begin to describe it.

13. Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick

A couple we never saw coming—Carrie Bradshaw and Ferris Bueller.

14. Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka

Two cute dads? Two adorable kids? The heart eyes just keep doubling.

15. Alexander DeLeon and Josephine Skriver

Remember that time he kidnapped her when she was having a stressful week and took her to Disney World? Yeah. That happened.

16. Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland

Us too, Wells. Us too.

Don't get me wrong, I honestly love all of the cute couples in the spotlight right now. But sometimes you need a good ole refresh from the same old news and a few people who will make you believe in love again.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
