Christmas is a time of love and joy between friends and family. It’s a time of wrapping paper and tacky pajamas. It’s also a perfect time for baseless speculation about people who still believe in Santa Claus. Here are some wild guesses.

Justin Bieber: This pop star has been trying real hard lately to prove that he’s a grown up now. Isn’t that cute? Just look at his whittle face. It’s just sooo adult-like. Sorry Bieber. You can’t fool us. We know that, deep down, you still believe in jolly, old St. Nick.

Tom Cruise: Let’s face it. Believing in Santa Claus wouldn’t be the strangest thing we heard about Cruise. Did you know that Cruise does his own stunts? In Mission Impossible 5, he was dangling on the side of a plane as it was taking off. He’s crazy, but that’s not a bad thing. You have to be a little crazy to believe in Santa Claus. And what exactly is Santa Claus, if not the manifestation of joy, peace, and love?

Mariah Carey: This sultry singer showed her Christmas spirit with her past song “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” If that wasn’t enough evidence, she posted on her Instagram a photo of her with some “real” reindeer. Obviously, we should interpret this photo as her announcing to the world that she’s a grown woman who still believe in Christmas. You know what? If the existence of Santa Claus is what fuels her into making such enjoyable Christmas songs, then she gets a lifetime pass.

Natalie Dormer: This Game of Thrones starlet is pure Christmas. You won’t be able to convince me that someone as transcendent and lovely as her doesn’t believe in Christmas. That’s just sheer folly. If anything, she’s Miss Christmas. I would go as far as to say that she’s the epitome of Christmas. This year, Christmas is hot.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
