Say It With Me: It’s OK To Start Celebrating Christmas In November!

There are so many people who are very strict on celebrating Christmas after Thanksgiving and not before. But then there are a lot of people that put their tree up on November 1st. And that is completely OK because the holidays are the best time of the year and if people wanna start celebrating early then good for them.

There can't be too much celebration, it such a great holiday.

There are so much fun and happiness that comes along with it. All the different new products that come out get everyone in the mood. I mean so many stores start putting decorations and selling so many holiday goods now that why shouldn't we celebrate it? Its just such a fun time that why not, be festive just puts everyone in a good mood. And decorating the house, putting up the tree is what makes it so much fun. There is no other time in the year that is that much fun and happiness that fills the world. As cheesy as that sounds it's so true.

The family you don't get to see usually comes around to your house and its just like a huge family reunion. There is nothing better than that because family is everything. It's a big party with awesome food and movies. There is nothing like some good family time.

If you are one of those people that starts celebrating Christmas after Thanksgiving then that is totally OK too, to each their own.

But no one should feel bad for celebrating a great holiday season when every they choose. No one is like the other person so everyone has their own way of doing this. And that is so OK.

The holidays are a great time of year, so enjoy it, whenever you want to.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
