For months, I've been making excuses to not get glasses. I didn't want to rely on glasses for the rest of my life, I didn't want my eyes to get worse, and I didn't want to be forced to settle for frames that looked terrible on me. And during those months, my eyes have suffered more and more straining. The struggle of being near sighted in one eye and far sighted in another is too real. Despite my excuses, I had to face reality. I needed to give in and order prescription glasses so that my eye sight didn't get worse. And seeing pictures of my favorite celebrities wearing glasses made it a lot easier to kick off the process. Because if Anne Hathaway looks more intelligent and attractive wearing glasses, then I can too!

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
