15 Ways Cats Tell You That You're Purrfect For Them

Most people think that cats are aloof creatures that show no affection but this isn't true.

Most people make out cats to be lazy creatures that just want to be left alone and don't care at all for their human family. This perception isn't the truth because cats have their own special ways of showing love. Here are some things that I've noticed my cat and many other cats do to show their trust and love towards their humans.

1. Bringing Presents

For indoor cats (like my own) this means bringing their favorite toys to you or for outdoor cats this means bringing you their hunt (possibly mice and birds).

2. Bunting

This is when cats rub their head against you in order to show that they are comfortable with you and want to claim you as their special human.

3. Slowly Blinking At You

This can also be reciprocated so try to slow blink back at your kitty when they do it to you!

4. Kneading You

5. Purring

6. Rolling On The Floor In Front Of You

This is one of the cutest ways in my opinion of how a cat shows they trust you.

7. Flicking Their Tails Up

8. Rubbing

9. Showing Their Tummy

10. Grooming You

Although most people wont be a fan of this, when a cat chooses to groom you, it comes from a place of love because they want to make sure their human is clean, or at least as clean as them.

11. Meowing At You

12. Gently Biting

13. Sleeping On You

If they choose your lap out of all of the possible comfy sleeping areas, that's saying something.

14. Following You

15. Wanting To Play With You

Taking time to actively play with your cat everyday strengthens the bond between cat and human as well as keeps them happy and in shape.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
