Wanted to write you a ballad

wasn't so sure of what to say

know you've been through

many lovers before

well don't think about those strays

First met you I never saw it

coming into to class I'm running late

passing you like good grades in college

the spark ignite turn into a flame

let it rise oh honey

let it rise

we'll be fine, do not worry

we have our lives, no need to hurry

I'll be here

stay right there

have no fear

it's very clear that

Our world is full of disaster

a portion not much is paid

you find yourself caught in the middle

in need of loyalty

Well here I am to give you an offer

a heads or tails there's much at stake

to give up a heart lacking laughter

a world of joy, yet it brings

Let it rise, oh honey

let it rise

We'll be fine, do not worry

we have our lives, no need to hurry

stay right there

have no fear

it very clear that

I want your love

its like you see me

the stars above
