SOMEONE, ANYONE GET MY CAMERA!

It’s different to have a cat of your own and not a family cat (which I’ve had also). I just adopted a cat from PetSmart and I love her to death. But, it’s weird having your own furbaby.

And I find myself overly concerned with her well-being, and overly-obsessed with taking her pictures. I mean she’s SO cute. Here are 11 thoughts you have when living with a cat.

1. SOMEONE, ANYONE GET MY CAMERA!

I’ll distract her, so she doesn’t run away! QUICKLY!

2. OMG LOOK HOW CUTE! I LITERALLY CAN'T EVEN.

*Goes to pet the forbidden area (stomach), gets attacked. So waits to take picture instead.*

3. Relax, it's just the vacuum.

If it’s not killing me, it’s not killing you.

4. OW! Why are your nails that sharp?!

Seriously, though, why are you digging into me? Just let me pet you.

5. This is self-explanatory.

Why just why...?

What's not self-explanatory is this lady's smile? That shit hurts.

6. What did I do to deserve you?

Honestly...

7. CAN YOU NOT!

LET A GIRL SLEEP!

8. Wtf are you doing?

Yes, I see you. I also feel you attacking my blanket.

9. LOOK, SELFIE!

ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR F-IN MIND? That would've been cute, too.

10. Two words:

Strawberry Shampoo.

11. "Hey you, human, pay attention to me."

“I decided this minute I’ll let you love me, no promises for the rest of the day.”

Moral of the story: cats are weird. Can’t live with ‘em, can’t live without ‘em.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
