If The Riverdale Cast Were College Majors
Cast of Riverdale

Riverdale: a show that will break your heart and put it back together again, and then break it. This binge-worthy show, based off of the comics, has everything anyone could ever want -- love, forbidden romance, and murder. But did you know that each character can actually be put into a college major stereotype?

Here is a list of college majors as the Riverdale cast.

1. English Literature - Jughead Jones

Jughead is filled with dark humor, intelligence, and is well-known for his writing skills. He describes himself as “weird,” which many people of this major can be told they are for choosing it.

2. Undecided - Archie Andrews

Meet Archie Andrews, the best friend, son, boyfriend, football star, aspiring singer/songwriter, and a man who is good with his hands. Unfortunately, all his interests and hobbies and loyalties make it hard to choose one single career path. But never fear because his good looks are are enough to get him by for now.

3. Music - Josie McCoy

A diva at heart and talent in the soul, this girl can sing. As the lead singer of the Pussycats, she is destined for great things. And you are too if you follow in those footsteps if you're sassy enough.

4. Political Science - Veronica Lodge

Riverdale’s newest addition to the town is filled with confidence, class, and the brains to run the world. She pushes her friends to do new things and isn’t afraid of a fight. She can be seen flaunting her trademarked pearls while being caught in scandals with the ever sought over “Archiekinz.” All of that just screams Political Science.

5. Art History - Jason Blossom

Like Jason, this major is dead. You can’t really find any good jobs nowadays with that degree. My advice is to do what Jason did, back away from your destiny and run far away from it as possible.

6. Child Development - Polly Cooper

A soft heart and a love for children is needed for this major and Polly has just that. From her innocent nature to her cute big hugs, this major has her name written all over it.

7. Communications - Reggie Mantle

I mean, Reggie already runs his mouth 24-7 for free, so he might as well make money for it. I imagine he would be pretty excited to learn about this major and enjoy taking part in all the “about me” speeches.

8. Fine Arts - Cheryl Blossom

It’s okay to get a little crazy when acting, actually, it’s encouraged, and with Cheryl, it’s hard to tell reality whenever she’s around. From her show-stopping outfits to her dramatic props, this girl is a master of the arts. You never know what you get with her. Hopefully, for your sake, it’s the nice version.

9. Journalism - Betty Cooper

This comes to no surprise since both her parents are highly involved in Journalism. She inherited the best of both genes and is a part of the school newspaper. Unlike her parents though, Betty strives to learn the truth and will do anything to get it, allowing herself to get into some trouble. Anything for the story though, am I right?

10. Fashion & Merchandising - Kevin Keller

This obvious choice for Kevin is more than just his amazing fashion choices. His heart and soul for creativity makes this major perfect for him.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Sister | Brother Style - Word Press

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
