While it was actually launched in the summer of 2015 and had early success claims, with half a million downloads and one million videos uploaded within the first few days of being available, things went quiet after its debut. While it never quite found it's footing, it's concept and team (which includes Neistat) was reportedly acquired by CNN for $25,000,000.
While the app will be shutting down on January 31st, 2017, Neistat and the team will be working on a new start-up company that will serve as an extension for CNN.
