Carrie Underwood just announced her pregnancy with baby number two! Although, you probably already knew this unless you live under a rock. Coming from someone who thinks Carrie Underwood is an absolute queen, I literally almost cried out of excitement for her. Oh, and she also announced her newest album, "Cry Pretty" will be out in September and the tour for Cry Pretty will kick off in 2019!
This news is the good news we all needed right now. With school coming up, and the end of summer near this time of the year is always kind of sad, but now we have something to be super pumped about. At least I know I am. Carrie Underwood has always been one of my favorite artists and will always be one of my favorites. She has always walked her life with grace and love for others. She loves her family, friends, and fans so much. I think she is a great person to look up to and want to be like.
I remember seeing her in concert when I was younger, and the fact that we almost didn't go see her. I remember crying when my parents told me we couldn't go, then on the day of her concert in Richmond, my parents surprised my older sister and me with tickets. We immediately got dressed and ready, and headed out the door to go see one of my favorite people in the world live. I honestly don't remember a lot of the specifics of her show, but I remember that it was one of the best nights of my life. One specific memory I have is that I started to get upset that she was not going to perform "Jesus, Take the Wheel," which at the time was and still is one of my favorite songs ever. Then, I heard the music for it and I was overjoyed.
Carrie Underwood is the actual queen we need and want. So thank you, Carrie, for all that you have done out of love for your family, friends, and fans. We are grateful every day for how you walk with such grace even living in the public eye. We all wish you the best with the new baby on the way! We love you so much!
Now, I know I will be trying to get myself to one of her concerts for Cry Pretty, how about you? The answer is that you have to go see her live, she is incredible.
