Get out your best Lilly dresses and your favorite oversized floppy hats. It's time for the Carolina Cup! Camden is more than just a small southern town in the state of South Carolina. It houses the location of the annual event of the Carolina Cup at The Springdale Race Course that holds a great deal of history and culture. Camden has been a training center for thoroughbred racehorses, by having the luxury and resources to train and exercise the influx of horses needed for racing. The Springdale Race Courses have more than 60,000 people attend their Carolina Cup in the ring, and their Colonial Cup in the fall. This April, the annual Carolina Cup celebrates their 81st event. During this all-day event, you will see a lot more than just a horse race:
Lilly, Lilly & more Lilly:
Just a few monograms...
One big frat party:
Girls and their letters:
Coolers just for the occasion:
Just a few tailgates:
Some of the most eccentric and colorful suits:
And the whole reason you're there... the races:
Come out & experience this all for yourself! See you in Camden next April!
