If you're into cars, then chances are you like to stay apprised of what is going on in the automotive world, especially in the USA. And while there are plenty of sites that give you reviews or try to sell you on a specific model, only a select few are reputable repositories of automobile news(Click here). Sometimes, you don't just wanna know how fast a car can go, or how much cargo it can fit in the trunk. Just as important as pure performance is how it fares against the competition on the track or seeing which configurations are trending among shoppers and just what people are getting up to with their favorite models.

Just a pit stop

With the current state of affairs, almost every business in the world is suffering. And while many people aren't thinking about buying a new car in an environment where they can't really leave the house all that often, the market has shown remarkable resilience. Cars are still symbols of freedom for many - a rite of passage for youngsters or a sign of independence for burgeoning adults. So while the industry may be in a bit of a slump, it's sure to bounce back in a big way when people are finally free to roam the streets en masse. As for the manufacturers, they have taken the time to rethink some of their flagship models and introduce new technologies and features that are bound to wow shoppers.

And the delays in some of the much-anticipated releases for the new production year has allowed engineers to further fine-tune their masterpieces, so we can expect to see a run of cars with more refinement than usual in the near future. Just some of the models that saw delays this year include the:

●Ford Mustang Mach-E

●Cadillac Escalade

●Acura MDX

●Nissan Frontier

What's to come?

Many automakers have introduced updated online ordering books, so it's likely that the car dealerships may not see as much business as they are used to once the pandemic craze passes. Still, you can't test drive the cars on your shortlist through a browser, so don't discount the hands-on experience. And, despite the middle man being cut out of the picture, it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect the MSRP of the latest releases to show a bit of a jump to make up for lost profits over these trying times. Luckily, with the latest engine technology, not to mention the growing list of electrified options, from sedans and coupes all the way through to crossovers, you can expect to quickly save back any excess spending on improved fuel economy. Just some of the models to consider if you find your wallet a little light after lockdown include the:

●Kia Forte

●Nissan Versa

●Tesla Model 3

●Hyundai Sonata Hybrid

●Toyota RAV4

●Kia Niro EV

Still, excellent mileage doesn't make for an automatic win. Be sure that the site you rely on for your news and reviews has a team that knows its stuff. From base model to top spec, you need to know exactly what your prime choices are capable of in comparison to the competition, and not just how much they cost or how much horsepower they throw around.

I'll never forget the day that someone told me these words: "Madison, I think you're a good friend to everyone but yourself." I stood there completely in awe of that statement. Before that day, I never really thought about being a friend to myself, and at the time, I didn't really know what it meant. Now, I realize that you can't fully be there for other people unless you're there for yourself, too. You can't show up for others until you're willing to show up for yourself.

Here are five things everyone should learn in order to be a better friend to themselves. These steps are hard, but they're so worth it.

It happens to all of us, the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas the catch up with you.

Thanksgiving Break is most likely everyone’s favorite break during the fall semester. You get to go home and reminisce with all your high school friends. That diet you’ve been on for the past month goes out the window, and you get to eat until you put yourself into a food coma. There’s no rush on homework and you can just lie in bed and Netflix to your heart’s content. To me that sounds like an ideally wonderful break, and totally stress-free.
