Careful When You Meet A Country City Girl

They're hands down the best kind.

Careful when you meet the city girl who loves the country. She’s funny, intelligent, quick on her toes, gorgeous, loves a good time, and isn't afraid of a little dirt. She's a God-fearing sweetheart who can shop for 12 hours or ride a 4-wheeler through the mud hole with a smile on her face the whole time.

This girl's the best of both worlds. So cross your fingers that she'll stick around once she's met you. And get ready for your world to be rocked.

She appreciates the little things. Now this doesn't mean that she doesn't enjoy a night out on the town every once in a while, but she will be perfectly content watching a movie with your family or having a dinner date a Waffle House. The sweet phone calls never go unnoticed with her. And she will always be down for a sunset over a river, or a hot dog at a baseball game with you.

She's tough. She's sensitive in her own little way, but I can promise you this girl can take on anything that is dished out to her. She's got some thick skin, so you can always pick and joke. Even when she fake pouts, I promise you she's really just fine.

She’s most likely the best girlfriend you'll ever have. She's thoughtful in the way that not many people are, which makes her so special. She will leave you sweet notes after a rough day, cook you a good meal, and try and bake you something sweet. She'll grab your favorite candy while at the store, or buy you concert tickets just to surprise you. She will never ever cheat on you, and doesn't believe in hurting others. She's kind because she wants to be, and genuinely cares about you. She loves doing for others, and if you're lucky enough to call her yours, hang on tight.

She's well-rounded. She listens to a wide variety of music. Her heart will always be set on country music, but she'll enjoy anything that's good, really. She always knows just the right songs, especially for those sweet slow dances in the living room.

She loves God. Every Sunday morning you'll find her in God's House, singing her heart out. If this isn't the most attractive thing to you, then just keep on walking. She'll always put God first, and expects you to do the same. She will challenge you constantly to become a better person, and you have to do the same for her.

She can hang with your guys. She can name every rifle known to man, and keeps up with all the latest sports. You won’t ever have to feel bad about her tagging along with all the guys, because I can promise you that she can hold her own. They might even like her more than you.

She can carry a conversation with almost anyone. And no, the conversation doesn't have to consist of hunting or designer clothes. She values intellect, especially when it comes to grammar. A gentleman that can hold a conversation and show that they have a real passion for something is hands down a better catch than just a pretty boy with no personality. This applies to women too. We don't want to be considered "air headed," so please don't mistake our slow twang for that.

If you're in her life, its not because she needs you, its because she sees something in you. Something about you sparks a fire in her, or otherwise she wouldn't have stuck around. You'll think about her smile, laugh, and conversation all the time. She'll bring on those butterflies in your tummy every time she talks about hunting season, or even when she talks about her newest pair of heels.

Careful when you meet the country city girl. You may just fall in love. But I can promise you that it will be the best love that you'll ever find.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
