Captain Jack Sparrow Visits Children's Hospital

Thanks to the avid sharing on Facebook, a video of Johnny Depp in full costume as Captain Jack Sparrow from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series has gone viral. And for good reason.

Despite his busy schedule, the video shows Johnny Depp taking a break from filming to surprise kids at the Lady Cliento Children's Hospital in Brisbane, Australia.

Aside from appearing in full costume, Captain Jack Sparrow brought along pirate Scrum, played by co-star Stephen Graham.

The captain and pirate first surprise a young girl named Ula who has fought cancer twice. Knowing she was receiving a surprise but not sure what to expect, she's dumbfounded when she turns the corner and is greeted by her favorite movie character.

The unexpected appearance also entailed meeting and spending time with several different patients as well as taking pictures. Depp also conducted an "interview" with the kids through the hospital TV show Juiced TV which is produced by the pediatric patients for fellow patients to view.

According to CBS news, the actors spent more than three hours visiting with children and their families.

As you can see as you watch the video, the children's reactions are priceless, and their enthusiasm uncontained. The countless hugs and ear to ear smiles shown easily bring viewers to tears, hence its popularity.

It's stars like Johnny Depp and Stephen Graham who go out of their way to make people's days that are true celebrities.

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
