When you have writer's block, why not write about it?

As I am sitting here staring at my wall praying for some inspiration, the brilliant question pops into my head, "Has anyone ever written about writers block while they were having a writers block?"Crazy idea right? But it makes sense, because since you can't think of anything else to write about, why not write about have a writers block? It is brilliant!!!

Picking one specific topic to write about can sometimes be just as difficult as, setting a pole vault world record, landing a quadruple jump in ice skating, winning the Tour de France without artificial help, throwing three no-hitters in a row in the Major Leagues, being a mom, climbing Mount Everest while holding your breath, winning the 100-meter butterfly at the Olympics while tied up with duct tape into a little ball in a sack, turning inside out (while alive) with no one else’s help, or folding a fitted sheet so it actually looks nice. Okay, okay, you get it. It can be hard! So why not pick them all?I know Taylor, brilliant, right? Not choosing a topic is as easy as

Writers block actually gives you a sense of peace and creativity due to not knowing what to write about. I help you just sit back blankly and think about all the wrong decisions you've made and how you should write about NONE of them.

Time is 8:30 p.m. Location, my bathroom.

Yes, I said bathroom. No, I'm not on the toilet, but my laptop is! I am sitting in a chair with my laptop on my toilet. Crazy right? You're wrong. I get the most creativity in the places I spend the least time. Don't knock it till you try it.

Now I'm not saying kick everyone out of your bathroom and just sit in there with your laptop, I am saying think of a place where you don't spend a lot of time, go there and start brainstorming. It's crazy how a different environment can differentiate how your mind thinks and explores. I personally do all my best thinking in my bathroom, under a rock, or in my car.

My writer's block goes far beyond this article. I am currently "writing a book." I put quotes around that so you know to take the term "writing a book" lightly. I have been "writing a book" for the past two years and I am stuck on the third chapter. I can not seem how to just continue onto the the next page (see what I did there?). I find it funny how hard I try to be funny, but no matter what it always seems that no one finds my jokes as funny as I do.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
