Why I Can't Support Hillary Clinton

She lies and twists the truth constantly so it will fit what she needs in the moment.

Why I Can't Support Hillary Clinton

With the election around the corner I decided to do a piece about Hillary Clinton instead of Donald Trump for once. It started off as just looking at her views and seeing everything she supports and trying to keep an open mind, but the more I read, the worse it got. There are so many reasons that I cannot bring myself to support her. You need to look at the whole picture when you are voting and not just what the media tells you.

Let's start off with the issues that Hillary has flip flopped on. There is an endless list you can find online, but there were four that really stood out to me. First off, gay marriage. She was insanely anti gay marriage for majority of her career. It wasn't even until a few years ago that she started to support gay marriage. Now, don't get me wrong. She has the right to change her mind, but what she doesn't have the right to do is lie and try to accuse people of twisting her words. In the last couple of years she started saying she supported gay marriage in interviews and denied that she ever said she was against it.

Secondly, the Trans-Pacific Partnership or TPP. She went on record many times stating that this was THE trade deal. This was the trade deal that would go down in History. This is the trade deal America needs to be a part of... but now? Now she denounces the trade deal. She began denouncing it during presidential campaigning when other candidates talked about how bad of an idea it was as well. She officially put on a mask in order to appeal to more people.

Third, The North America Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). As a senator, she was a major pusher for this trade agreement. She stated many, many times that this agreement was good for America, and in many of the articles and transcripts she even states that it will specifically be great for New York. Now, she states that she never supported NAFTA. She claims that she was against it and warned against it from the start.

The fourth major thing she has flip flopped on is Illegal Immigration. This point is two fold. First, immigrant children. In many interviews she stated that if the child came across the boarder it doesn't mean they should stay. Now she again denies she ever said that and says that we owe it to them to give them every resource we have available to help those children. The second side of this point is the boarder. She used to be very anti immigration. She even went on record saying that we need to build better walls and strengthen the boarders. The same exact thing she is now bashing Trump for saying.

Again, everyone has the right to change their minds, but I don't have respect for someone who can't own what they have previously said. There are so many things going on that we are just turning a blind eye to. She is back under FBI investigation for the emails. She is constantly lying and twisting the truth. And my favorite thing: she uses a fake accent when she goes to different states to campaign!

Some people are able to overlook this and think that she is harmless, but I'm honestly kind of worried about what we are going to have to face in the coming years if she wins the presidential election.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
