What Your Candy Choice Says About You

Everyone likes candy, but which candy do you prefer, and what does that say about you? Do you prefer chews over chocolate? Cherry over grape? Dark over milk? Every candy is different, causing different types of people to become attracted to them. What is your preference?

Swedish Fish or Twizzlers:

You are a chewer. You like your candy to be lasting and enduring. You enjoy every bite one at a time, tasting the cherry flavor of the candy and trying to keep that sugary taste in your mouth for as long as possible. Watch out, at a movie, your teeth will hurt after all the chewing you're going to do.

Dark Chocolate:

You have a sophisticated personality. You want the rich quality of the chocolate, and don't mind spending a few bucks more to achieve that taste. You are usually high maintenance and want everything to be top notch. Nothing wrong with spending a little more to get that perfect chocolate bar.

Starbursts or Skittles:

You like variety. Your favorite things are normally colorful and flavorful. You are full of ideas and zest, and you hate boring people. You are the type who turns heads, but not in a bad way; in a way that says people are admiring how fun you make your life.

Kit Kat or Twix:

You are a cruncher. You seek adventure and different approaches to solving your problems. No one really understands you or your personality, but that doesn't even faze you at all.

Smarties or Sweet Tarts:

You take sugar straight up. You have constant energy, and you never slow down one bit. You enjoy simple things that have a big effect. You are sometimes a geek, but you embrace it.

M&M'S:

You are energetic and full of inspiration. You never slow down and you are constantly thinking about the future. You love your life and you are open to wherever life takes you.

Snickers:

You are popular and you love it. People admire you and can always find something to like about you. You are friendly and approachable, and you make others around you to feel comfortable. No matter the situation, you are the good company to be around.

Reese's:

You love to eat, and there is no chance you are sharing your candy. You are slightly greedy, but have really good taste. Be careful not to be too greedy!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
