Who wouldn't want to spend their summer doing arts and crafts, cool science stuff and swimming? You are basically just another camper.

My favorite quote from this summer was said by an 11 year old boy. We were outside and he says "When I turn 16 I want a motor bike and a YMCA membership." Dream big little man.

5. Counselor Tan Lines Are No Joke

T-shirt and Shorts tan lines make weekend pool trips with friends really awkward when they are all nice and tan and your stomach is super white.

6. Taking Away Swim Time Is The Ultimate Punishment

Kids lose their minds when you tell them you are taking 2 minutes off their swim time.

7. You Wished And Prayed That You Could Get Through One Day Without Filling Out An Accident Report

It Never Happened.

8. Rainy Days Are The Actual Worst

How are you supposed to entertain 100 kids inside? Sharks and Minnows becomes your new best friend.

9. Ratio. Head Count. Face Count. Bathroom Buddies. Side Hugs.

All words that you become very familiar with. These are just a few of them...

Black shorts and a colorful camp shirt. Every. Single. Day.
