Camila Cabello And Shawn Mendes Are Attention Seekers And I Would Rather Do These 10 Things Than Watch Them Kiss

It seems creating music videos are not enough to get the attention of the world.

I remember when I first met Camila Cabello when she was a member of Fifth Harmony and they had an autograph signing at the mall. I like her music but occasionally change the station on the radio since it is often repetitive. Shawn Mendes is not a bad singer but owes his fame to the short-lived video sharing platform Vine. As for the video they made, it was unnecessary. Just bizarre, disgusting, and random. Their performance at the VMAs is enough proof that Camila and Shawn are in a relationship.

Here are 10 things that are more interesting than their attention-seeking video:

Waiting at the DMV

Anyone who has gone to the Department of Motor Vehicles knows that it is boring and the service is extremely slow. If you need to travel to the DMV, during the time you have to wait, you can finish an eBook or a Stephen King novel before your number is called. However, in comparison to the video, the stress and frustration would be worth it.

Walking on Legos

These are painful to step on. I'm sure many would not mind though. After all, the agony felt from stepping on Legos will not last for weeks like strange events involving young celebrities.

Using a gas station bathroom

The bathrooms at gas stations are awful. They probably keep them locked because someone might try to clean them. Using this bathroom would not be the worst experience.

Watching grass grow

Nature is beautiful to observe. This is certainly a boring activity, but unlike the video, grass has a purpose. This is also an opportunity to take pictures of flowers growing outside, as well, so there is some positive aspect to looking outside.

Eating curry

This is one of the foods that I cannot eat without sweating and having my face turn red like celebrities do after they get caught on camera embarrassing themselves. I am not adjusted to eating anything spicy like curry. However, with enough water, I would not mind the heat.

Watching past Super Bowl halftime shows

As far as YouTube videos go, they will definitely pass the time, and I will have a chance to see performances from Super Bowl halftime shows that I forgot about or did not have a chance to see. There were actually some good moments. It would be worth checking out.

Eating a Beanboozled jelly bean

There are so many different flavors. Some are good and others are terrible. You never know what you will get, but that's what makes it interesting, just like YouTube videos.

Seeing a Nicholas Cage movie

His films are not great, but they are a good distraction. The kind of craziness that will keep you interested for a while. They are not the dumbest things ever recorded. Credit for that goes to Camila and Shawn right now.

Having a conversation with a telemarketer

When you talk with someone who solicits over the phone, it can get annoying. It is something that I might still consider as a substitute. There is a chance that our chat might be interesting.

 Taking a cold shower

Although it's good for opening your pours, I am not used to the low temperatures. It will be worth the risk anyway. Besides, this is literally the cleanest activity on the list, so why not?

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
