We all need to keep our heads up to the sky after this week's news. It's more evident now than ever that this world truly needs peace. We do not want history to keep repeating itself, seriously can't we all just get along?
Color does not define us and it should not stand in our way of who we truly are as an individual. Can we honestly just put all of the hashtags away and focus on the major issue which is honestly just world peace. We all know that black lives, blue lives, and that all lives matter. Instead of using or choosing to stand by these quote on quote hashtags which are meaningless why not just pray for world peace?
Pray for a better world, pray that people come to their senses, and realize that this is the 21st century. People need to remember that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. has blessed and fought for ALL LIVES especially minorities to have equality. Just like the Suffragette movement and so many other movements that have historically taken place especially in the countries of Islamic culture.
Now of course by research, this statement is not opinionated, but by RESEARCH minorities still are significantly getting discriminated, stereotyped, and persecuted. If you don't believe me look it up on Google, do your own research. We know this and unfortunately some of us have faced it and it's okay if you have not faced it because that does not victimize you.
The point I'm trying to make is that yes even though we are still living in a day of age where prejudice continues to live on, can we as a society, friends, lovers, co-workers, neighbors, families, communities, towns, and government officials come together and not pick a side? Stop picking a side to be on and aspire for world peace because ultimately if your a decent genuine human being than you should automatically not criticize other people you have no reason to it's not a blame game. There's no reason to pick a side because the bigger issue is just for some peace, deep sentimental United States of America kind of peace.
We as a country are United even though it seems we are quite divided. We need to change this aspect about ourselves as a country and we need to start acting like our right presence. Stop picking a side just because of your beliefs. Of course we know prejudice and racial profiling will continue for quite sometime but it would help so greatly if we as a society who have people in our lives that relate to these kinds issues remember that there are no sides when it comes to love.
When we choose to stand by something on social media it stays with us forever and if you truly have people in your lives that you care about, then you would be for world peace rather than with a hashtag. We need world peace not a hashtag that defines our stance on something that happened in the news.
What happened is what happened and now in order to move forward we all, in all seriousness this human body entire population needs to stand together and accept everyone's differences and put each other's beliefs aside. It's the only way, and the only way to do that is through us, it's not with guns, fists, words, protests, or even movements it's through our everyday lives!
Change the way you interact with people who are different from you, be more open-minded, come to a cultural relativism, and general consensus that this world is unique and everyone deserves the same kind of opportunities. It all starts with our daily selves before we can see any progress and I challenge and dare all of you reading this article to start today and make a difference in your outlooks on life just by the way you communicate, exchange, and make gestures with others.
It will make the most significant difference among yourself and other's within the lives you touch. At this very moment I stand by, encourage, promote, and vote for world peace because that's the very essence of life itself that will only evolve this United States of America nationally and globally. I hope you all do this as well and well if you don't then only time will tell how your character will be judged by the eyes of the world.
