6 Reasons To Get Excited For Fall

Bye summer, hello fall.

So it is now September and fall is soon upon us. Fall could possibly be one of my favorite times of the year and here is why.

1. It is not too cold that you have to pull out a heavy winter jacket but yet you can still rock your stylish new long sleeve and sweater that you just bought.

I recently just purchased a new Michael Kors fall coat that I am so excited to wear.

2. Going back to school.

What's not to love about college? You get to live with your best friends 24/7, sleepovers every night! No rules, no curfews, you are on your own to explore new friendships and learn new things. For someone who has a little OCD organizing my binders gives me a weird sense of euphoria.

3. Pumpkin Spice Lattes.

Personally I am not a huge fan of this but it is know to be the common “college girl” fall drink. Yes, I am talking about you pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks. Starbucks’ stock must go up a tremendous amount in the fall. I am much more of a caramel apple spice person but don't worry all those girls who wait all year for their PSL it shall be returning soon.

4. Sunday nights are now designated for wings and football.

Even better then watching the game on TV with a plate full of wings and burgers is actually going to the game. Getting up to get dressed in your team’s colors and freezing your butt off seeing people tackle each other.

5. I’m fortunate to live in the northeast where the fall foliage is legendary.

I love watching the leaves change from green to yellow, orange and red. I sometimes wish that the colors would stay like that all year, but then I guess I wouldn’t appreciate the beauty as much.

6. But the absolute best part of fall is apple picking.

There is something to be said about picking your own apples. As a short person I always need a tall companion to help me out because the short people problems are real. After you spend an awesome day in a beautiful place, using the apples to make apple pies and apple cider on a fall evening could not be a better experience.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
