Welcome, and congratulations!

You are about to embark on an exciting journey that every person at one point or another must take. Although you may make this journey several times within your life, this first one will be filled with curiosity, struggle, self-gain, doubt, and ultimately, achievement.

This is the moment. Perhaps it's not the moment you've been waiting for or even the moment you've been preparing for your whole life, but it's a moment nonetheless.

My friend, this is the gateway to your life's next chapter, the mountain that every person must cross, and the adult rite of passage.

The time has come. Today, you're going to purchase your very first plane ticket.

1. Access the ol' Google search for plane tickets

2. Slightly panic while skimming all sites, prices, etc.

3. Remember you forgot to set your web browser to incognito

Setting your web browser to incognito prevents websites from knowing that you're searching for plane tickets, and thus stops companies from bumping up the prices!

4. With browser now in incognito, search for "airplane tickets"

5. As you're scrolling through the results, notice Google has a handy service that locates the best deals for you. Use it

6. Type in your arrival date, return date, location, etc.

7. Debate on whether it would be cheaper to fly out a day later and just stay in a hotel

8. Ehh, to heck with it! You'll fly out when you want to fly out!

9. Stare into the deep abyss of the computer screen, calculating if this is really the best deal

10. Open a new browser tab

11. Start single-handedly searching through every airline name you can think of

12. After a couple of dead-end sites, realize perhaps you shouldn't have doubted Google

13. Open a new tab

14. Log in to your Facebook account and post a status asking for everyone's best tips for buying airline tickets

15. Call your grandma and ask for advice

16. Realize that your first find may have been the best find

17. Go back to your original tab

18. Double-check your work. Is everything correct???

19. Scream "YOLO" to no one in particular and hit that "PAY" button

Congratulations! You have successfully navigated your way to purchasing your very first airplane ticket! It's now an item you can check off your bucket list!

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
