Business Opportunities

Spying the perfect business opportunity can be difficult. There seems to be an overwhelming amount of businesses popping up all over the place. The internet is jam-packed with businesses. The high street is full of shops. Is there really room for yet another business?
In short, yes. There is always room for more businesses. But, you need to have a smart plan for how you are going to operate. You need to be a niche. You need to fill gaps in the market. This is the only way to succeed in 2014 and beyond.

Here are some amazing business ideas and opportunities for smart entrepreneurs.

A Small Automotive business

You don't have to be BMW or Jaguar to own small automotive industry. Nor do you have to be car salesmen. There are some fundamental gaps in the automotive industry that are waiting to be exploited. Tire manufacturing, battery reconditioning and chip, and scratch repair companies are all vital. These aspects of the car industry are the ones that business people forget to exist. These businesses can be lucrative, and they have very low associated start-up costs. All you need is some key equipment, such as silent air compressors if you are going into the tire trade, and away you go. These kinds of businesses can be started for less than £1000.

Provide Virtual Assistants

With the rise of outsourcing in businesses, it makes sense to fill that niche. Many companies don't want their resources in-house. On the contrary, they would rather have a crack team of outsourced gurus completing tasks on their behalf. The growth of virtual assistants has been monumental. But, there is still a need for one great company to provide this kind of assistance. So, why not is the go-to guy or girl? Providing virtual assistants is a great way to strengthen your business bonds. The great thing is, is that you don't need a heap of cash to get started. A laptop, somebody's, and a website are all you need. People are desperate for work. But, companies are desperate for work to be completed. This is the perfect opportunity. Offer invoicing services, bills, content or PR. The world of virtual assistants is your oyster.

Translator Services

Okay, this is a kind of niche. But, think about this in reality. How many companies transcend into other countries? The growth and expansion of e-commerce mean that more and more people are trading overseas. But, there are language barriers. As a multilingual agency, you can send multilingual staff out to big companies. Franchise out your company. Create an agency. Think outside of the box. Hire staff from across the world. This can be virtual or in person. But, it's a savvy step to make. All businesses now operate on the internet in some way. All companies need a translator, but finding a translating agency can be difficult. The age of globalization has broken down trading restrictions. But, language barriers still exist. The smart entrepreneur will know that this is a lucrative industry that will only serve to grow in the future.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
