We all have had these thoughts running through our minds when taking the bus in between classes.

Riding the bus on campus at Michigan State University is a very exhilarating experience. Here are some of the things that are on our minds every day.

1. When a scent appears out of no where and lingers 

... And you spend the majority of the bus ride trying to figure out where it came from, who else can smell it too, and what exactly it is.

2. The person talking ENTIRELY too loud on their phone

Or for that matter; on speakerphone discussing very important details of their day.

3. When the bus driver slams on the brakes

You better find something to cling to for the entirety of the trip or you'll be falling into someone's lap around every corner and stop.

4. When you forget to request a stop 

We've all been there and we've alllll made this face.

5. ALL. THE. CROWDING.

But seriously. I feel like every bus has at least 300 kids at all times. Talk about claustrophobia! Which leads me to my next point.

6. That feeling when the bus is completely empty

It's *almost* like you own the bus and the bus driver is your own personal chauffeur! Pretend away!

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
