I find myself reaching for these creative outlets whenever I need inspiration, motivation, to see uplifting words or whenever I need reassurance that everything is going to be OK. R.M. Drake is one of those writers who appeals to a broad audience. What he writes can be attributed to multiple life events, and each person can take away something different.

Let these things bring fire to your soul, so when you look back at your life, you'll have no regrets and you can leave this place a little better than when you found it."

"Some people try so hard to change but sometimes it doesn't happen that way; we cannot force it. Sometimes it just happens over night, like one day it all makes sense and just like that you change. That should be inspiring to us all, the way we are able to die every night; only to be reborn the next day for the rest of our lives."

"You have to do things for yourself before you do things for other people. Love yourself then love other people. Trust yourself then trust other people. Be kind to yourself. Be good to yourself. When it is time for other people, it will be time for other people but right now you have to save yourself before you can save other people."
