It's hard to feel like our voice matters, especially in the age where almost everyone's voice is being projected on nearly every platform.
It's overwhelming, really. You voice your opinion on Twitter, and it's immediately pushed to the bottom of your followers' timelines because one hundred other people tweet at the same time as you. Who's going to see your thoughts? Is anyone going to care? Will people start a cyber-fight?
The point is, it's hard finding your voice--it's hard using your voice, but that shouldn't stop you.
Sometimes your voice doesn't even have to make a sound for it to reach someone.
Let your paintings speak for you. Make videos. Write plays. Sing. Don't limit yourself to social media platforms. While they're great for spreading messages and posting your work, think outside the box.
The world needs our voice, for without it, we'd be silent; we'd be blind.
Speak up. Don't let your voice be suppressed.
Now is the time we stop shouting over each other and listen. Find people with common voices and let them come together; voices are louder when spoken at the same time.
Keep singing, keep writing, keep painting, keep speaking, keep sharing.
Find your voice and use it.
